A classy, Southern Spain inspired wedding at a beautifully themed Spanish Villa, complete with our Signature Sangria, live guitar, and other details to entice! Attire is “San Diego Formal”; dress up, look nice, but no ties required and nice sandals will be gladly accepted! The weather in May is temperate, but after sunset (7:42 PM) will likely be mid-60s, so keep this in mind.

For those driving, there will be free valet service available, so no worries about parking!

Accomodation Information

We are have blocked rooms at the lovely Bahia Resort Hotel located on Mission Bay, just a short walk from Mission Beach. To make reservations using our group rate, call 1-800-576-4229 or go to this special web link: Strong & Fodor Wedding Hotel.

If you choose to stay at the Bahia Hotel and will be driving to the Darlington House for the wedding, it is less than 6 miles and a 10-15 minute drive. There will be a free valet service available at the location to avoid any parking trouble. We are considering renting a charter bus if there is enough interest. If you choose to take a cab it will likely be around $10 give or take and depending on traffic.

Also, for those who will be staying for the weekend at the Bahia, be sure to head over the the Tangier Bar
where you can find our signature drinks for the weekend! In keeping with the Spanish theme you will find Sangria Martinis and Spanish Mules available. Look for our little signboard on the bar, or ask the bartender!
